1. Embracing Complexity & Systems Thinking  - Demonstrating "Embracing Complexity & Systems Thinking" means I inspire students to seek out the bigger picture, going beyond analysing individual parts, to examine whole systems and interactions and relationships between individual parts and its components. Being able to apply systems thinking is crucial in business and beyond to enable effective and sustainable solutions to the complex, messy, "wicked" problems we are facing as individuals, businesses, and society. I further inspire students to accept that learning (and teaching) occurs within a increasingly complex environment in which we all navigate challenges old and new, including geopolitics, globalisation, AI, robotics, social inequality, polarisation, and many more.
2. Social & Environmental Responsibility - Practicing "social & environmental responsibility" means I inspire students to act for the benefit of society at large, balancing economic growth with environmental welfare and community well-being, and to acknowledge how our behaviour, as individuals, businesses, and society impact the environment and how we can protect our planet through sustainable daily actions. . Together we, students and I, seek to understand better how we (and businesses) can go beyond legal compliance by embedding environmental sustainability and ethical practices into our daily practice.
3. Cultural Responsiveness - Practicing "cultural responsiveness" means I inspire students to acknowledge and embrace cultural differences and the diversity in which we find ourselves now, in the future, and across our personal and professional life. Navigating and responding positively and successfully to cultures we experience and the cultural differences we encounter will make us better professionals.
4. Intellectual Humility - Practicing "intellectual humility" means I inspire students to acknowledge and appreciate that "We know accurately only when we know little; with knowledge, doubt increases." (Goethe)
5. Prototyping Mindset - Demonstrating a "prototyping mindset" means I inspire students to
6. Moral Courage - Demonstrating "moral courage" means I inspire students to commit to making consistent ethical decisions, even in challenging situations, such as managing ethical dilemmas and resisting pressure to engage in any forms of misconduct, now and in their future careers. This also included a move away from purely self-interested, individualistic approaches to a "we" mentality, recognising the interconnectedness of stakeholders and how their actions impact all.
7. Reflective Practice - Demonstrating "reflective practice" means I inspire students to stop, breath, and take stock of their learning journey and career development. Becoming a reflective practitioner will be essential for students to keep growing throughout their career and take an active role in this growth.
